Closed Shift click deleting

Sometimes when i shift click an item from my hot bar into my inventory, it will vanish. I noticed this again just now while using a furnace.

Unsure if it is simply while using some interfaces or if it is just an every now and again issue.

Does anyone else get this problem?

 

I think this occurs in multiple ways. I've lost a few items here and there by picking them up, throwing them, or putting them away aswell. Nothing serious has ever occured as a result for me, but it is frustrating.

 

It should be noted that shift clicking will put items into their correct category in your inventory. You'll also notice that directly above the grid containing your items, there are little bits. I have two right now, one "standard" tab and one tab for "crafted materials" it seems, but I can still move items freely between these tabs. I have found that shift clicking will move an item to the appropriate tab if done from the hotbar.

 

It is deleting items for me too while having a "container" open. just deleted my riot sword because of it. it had no where else to go than stay or move tab (Which it didnt)
Possibel work around for this can only be dont use shift click into a container (Chest. etc)
