    i dont know if there is a thread about the shields but i would like to know will the shield have an attacking option

    Haven't heard anything about that. It's possible that they're solely for defence and maybe even blocking.

    Unfortunately, it may be the case. After all, the player character will probably have a perfectly good weapon in their other hand to use, which is probably more effective than a shield bash. Worst case scenario, shield attacks could be added in a fan-made mod one day.

    On Tiys stream he uses double shields, but never uses an attack. They are purely for defence, but i still think Tiy should implement that "each weapon has 2 functions" thing that was talked about before. Like a melee weapon can stab, but if you ,shift + click, its a sweep. Same concept with the shield. Block, shift + click ,shield bash.

    Considering we can duel weild we will still have weapons unless you go dbl shield nlbut why would you do that its a great option to mess around with but not very practical
