No, the game's only playable on PC, Mac and Linux. Also, please refer to the forum rules, double posting isn't allowed, and this isn't the right thread to be asking question.
Wow, what a response. Double post, sure. telling him to not ask questions in a post that may very well have gotten him interested enough in buying the game from? Lol.
geez dude. one of the main reasons for a forum like this is to help new players that have questions. your response of "no it cant" was all the response needed. lighten up a bit.
I agree 100%. Also, General forums for information regarding Starbound. Question: "Can this game be played on iPad?" Is obviously about Starbound. Also, im appearently a Fat Man Which makes me a sad panda because i just lost 40 pounds. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, but they should create a new thread in the FAQ subforum, instead of asking a question on a completely unrelated thread.
the guy has 3 total posts and 2 of them are here. there is a small learning curve here till he gets the hang of how to do things.
I realize that, that's why I edited my post and was kind and guided him to where he should post. Anyways, back on topic, it would be amazing if this was actually implemented as a structure
One day I will have a sprawling place like that work of art. Of course right now I just have not found my planet of choice yet. Great work and look to the whole complex. It does remind me of what I sort of do to my own places. I may not be as great as this, but well enough to get close to the detail in my own way. We each have our own style in building, and I do like the style you have presented, even if quite different from my own.
So am I the only one who spends ages making a base just to have it destroyed by meteors? 3 bases on different planets I have started and each one has been destroyed!! Is there a way of knowing whether there is a high chance hours of work will be annihilated by rocks smashing you in the face?
With my experience, which is limited; spending a couple days on planet without teleporting to ship, as for me I would see such meteor strike within that time if happens. Otherwise seeing other weather patterns. Preferably one with normal or harmless rain. That is the only thing I can think of, at least as possibilities...
The last planet I was on I went days/weeks without a meteor strike so I thought it a good place to make a base. I excavated underground, built separate rooms, made farmland either side. I was just about to build another room when BAM! Massive meteor strike destroyed everything again!! I have played SB for 135 hours and have had 3 bases destroyed by meteors so either - a) I'm really unlucky b) The devs hate me or c) I have a bugged version........ I'm going with B lol
Well you could always build in an asteroid field, not any weather there. Only downside is no air, and very little ground to walk on. What's not to love?
yeah...you were unlucky. i still say that that huge meteor can strike anywhere, anytime regardless of other weather. others refute that but personal experience has reinforced the notion. it seems the meteors always come left to right so you could find the highest mountain and hollow out a base on the right side of it near the base.
yeah I would say a and half b; half b due to RNG hating you possibly. It is all random, and I do agree to that aspect needing work. Was that days/weeks game time on planet without going back to ship? As I find it an oddity that weather would take such a long time to show itself, when there is weather. Something needing fixing or alterations. hmm... At any rate this is getting a bit off topic, sooo....
After 1 in game week, you should be able to tell all the weather effects. You're simply getting unlucky with your planet RNG
