Sharing My Base: USCM Jungle Base

Thats an awesome base you have there . Although if you could add an apocalypse now reference in there somewhere, it would be even more awesome

 

I'll be sure to add Napalm as soon as it is available.

 

I just lock everybody inside now, except for limited courtyards where they can't jump out and escape and die. I need better minions.

 

lol that's one way to do it. I kept the base pretty open because I wanted a more real feeling to it.

Usually I just lurk and browse around, but I had to log in and comment on this one. Wonderful job on building your base, it's a little inspiring. It's something I've been wanting to do for a long time, but I've been in search of the "perfect planet" before doing so. Your creativity is certainly worth noting and is far more creative than something I could have imagined. The amount of hours and work going into this must not have been easy. Your jungle base is something I would probably do myself in a similar fashion ultimately. I like how it's more centralized around the surface than it is vertically above or below. Makes for easier time getting from one place to another if you decided to put in skyrails w/o having to change structures. You should see if you can get this implemented into the main game this would definitely be a nice addition.

 

Finding the right planet can be tricky. It took... roughly 10 hours to find the right planet for me, because I was looking for; Green dirt, Jungle, No negative weather, normal water, and pretty much ideal conditions all around. I thought I had found the right planet earlier, but then acid rain happened just before I started building the first bunker.

I'm not sure how I would go about that

 

If anything, you might be able to just post up your screenshots in a suggestion forum as a new "dungeon-type". Most of the suggestions are things that are not currently in-game, so they would require a lot more coding to implement, if they did. But you just utilized all the in-game content and essentially reorganized it in a matter that could fit into the lore. So, maybe that is the only way to go about that.

 

Posting it on Reddit as a new dungeon type would probably be the best way to get the developer's attention.

Yeah, but the Dev's don't really use the forums that often at all, its more likely to be seen on Reddit.

Awesome, I'd love this to be added as a structure in-game, perhaps as a Human village, with peaceful survivors of Earth being guarded by USCM Marines.
