*Edit: Wow I don't know if anyone cares but I was blown away by every one else's entries. Hi,This is my monster of evilwhich I am using to attempt to win this contest or inspire other people... Detailed description (Spoilers): The Shadoniacero is an entity (a lost soul of a Niacero) which has a legless humanoid shape(it floats) with strips of flesh, tentacles, ectoplasm (what ever you like) trailing behind it, a sure way to know if you are being haunted by one is a eerie particle effect around the general area where it is and by the death of your friends/yourself(or abnormal happenings)... How do I kill it? It is mostly immune to damage but if you hit its soul crystal it will cause tons of damage and if you shoot tomthing inro its mouth it will stun it... Back story:There was once a race known as the Niaceroes, they were a wise and peaceful race who never left their planet; Nia's surface in fear of her destruction predicted at the beginning of time ,then one day a meteorite landed on Nia, the Niaceroes were fascinated as they had never been in space... Soon they built a space craft using the meteor as fuel, they left the atmosphere to they decided to visit one of Nia's moons: Colosus II,to find a God was imprisoned within... After freeing him he instantly turns on them and a The Shadow War breaks out, the Niaceroes decide it is best to destroy their sun to trap the God in a black hole, they did so and Nia's destruction eventually followed, trapping all Niaceroes between us and the void, corrupted by the God they search for souls to help him return, bringing Nia and the Niaceroes with him... Habitat:Anywhere dark but it is VERY VERY rare... Behaviour:The Shadoniacero will pick a group/person to "haunt", lets presume they are underground mining collecting samples and it is a single person. A particle effect will surround him/her and eerie noises will play, creepy things could happen like all the light sources going out, battery powered machinery not working... You get the idea... Red eyes will quickly approach him/her and if they pull a torch light source out nothing will be there. They will be cut off from communicating with others (other planets or getting help from the surface) Eventually it will confront them and it will conjure dark projectiles at them, when the person or Shadoniacero is at low health the Shadoniacero will try to absorb their soul.(As seen in the badly drawn pictures) If there is multiple people it will try to kill them one by one, going for the weakest to strongest... Capturing it is possible(unless the devs say no)... If my and many other peoples idea of DNA merging gets into the game, you can merge yourself with the Shadoniacero to get ghost like powers and a soul crystal... NOTE TO PUBLIC:If you for some reason want to use the Shadoniacero for... something feel free... Picture description:The Shadoniacero is black or dark blue in colour and with red eyes and a soul crystal in its fore head, it has something trailing from its body.(The particle effect described above is in the pictures.) It's a rather fascinating creature in all honesty and rather dark albeit I cannot help but wish for a deeper back log as to it's existance and as to why it in a sense stalks the player within the darkness. I wouldn't say to give up on this idea of yours but I might just suggest a small sum of refinement and consideration for it's larger potential. You've got a good idea on your hands here.
