    Listen servers
    In a nutshell. For mac

    Introduction:

Fellow Starbound Players, if you are reading this then you are like me, you want to play with your friends and not the creepy people out there on the internet. Or you don't have the time to set up a dedicated server.
This tutorial will include one tutorial for Hamachi, I know very little about port forwarding, but if you do go for it.
    Disclaimer:
I take no responsibility for any harm done to your computer while following these instructions.
With that out of the way lets start out with the tutorials.
    Tutorial
    1. Locate your starbound.app
    It will be at
    STEAM: /*ComputerName*/Users/*UserName*/Library*/Application Support/Steam*/Steamapps/common/Starbound/Starbound.app
    NON-STEAM /*ComputerName*/Users/*UserName*/Library*/Application Support/Starbound/Starbound.app

Library*: If you are on 1.7.5+ (Lion and up) Then you have to press the go button and hold the option key. The menu should now display the library folder.
Steam*: These folders only apply to steam users. Also you can right click on the app in steam and click browse local contents.

    2. Right click (ctrl click for single button users) on Starbound.app and press show package contents
    3. Navigate to Contents/MacOS/
    4. Open starbound_server with the terminal app NOTE: Steam users, too avoid steam overlay issues you can start starbound with the starbound executable.
    5. The starbound_server will open in a new terminal window, this window acts as the server console, you can run commands for the server in it. Too stop the server close this window.
OPTIONAL 6a. Start Hamachi and give out your hamachi IP to our friends so they can connect. Make sure they are all on the same Hamachi network.
OPTIONAL 6b. Give out your external IP address to your friends so they can connect. This only works if A. You give out your INTERNAL IP address to people on you LOCAL network. Or B. You have port forwarded. You can obtain you external IP by searching "What is my IP?" In Google. You can obtain your Internal IP in your network preferences.
    7. Connect in you Starbound client to your server with your IP address, your friends should do the same.
    8. Enjoy.
    9. Close server by closing the terminal window.

Remember! Starbound is operating system cross compatible for Multiplayer. The server could be on a mac, but all the clients Windows or Linux users!

This was written by a Mac user using the Steam version of Starbound. If you notice anything wrong with my tutorial just message me or leave a comment.
