So, generally, I enjoy Starbound WAY more than Terraria. But in the new update for Terraria, they added hosting through steam and I love it. For a while now, I've wanted to play Starbound multiplayer on a private server with my friends, but have had issues with hosting despite all the guides and everything on the internet. I suggest you guys add hosting through steam so hosting will be easier. I love the game in every other aspect!
Side note: This should probably (?) be in the Multiplayer topic of the forums I'm not sure what the deal with hosting is specifically, but the feature would definitely be a nice addition. -as a suggestion for now, I would suggest the program Evolve if you haven't tried it. It's quite helpful for multiple games (I use it for Starcraft, used to for Terraria)
I have no idea how i have that many points. I made the account a long time ago, but this was my first post. I guess i should repost this in multiplayer

I agree, a simplified macthmaker would be great addition to the game. Adding a function to scan for multiplayer maps on the internet or on lan could make our journey much better. You could just start up a lan server from inside your game and connect with your friend who get a popup on the living server.
