I just spent around an hour gathering the materials for the robot (second boss) and as soon as it spawns it 1 shots me and disappears completely?

Are you kidding? No warning at all, it just 1 shots the shit out of me and I just waste an hour of my fucking life on that shit.

At least give the player a warning after making them build an item that takes a shit ton of time to make, just for unsuspecting players to get killed for their efforts instantly. Such a waste of time.

I made the robot thinking it would be an ally, and it turned and one hit me, so believe me I know your pain.

I cannot help but think this was a deliberate design choice just to troll us b/c it happened to me and my brother as well. This game is brutal.

 

I definitely think there should be some clearer indication that boss summoning items ARE boss summoning items, but to be fair it kind of did have the same hint that the beacon did with the "who knows what could happen" kind of idea. But hey, the games getting rebalanced soon so maybe it will be fixed then and not so ridiculously hard.

 

Yeah I thought it was going to be my friend. Was very sad when he attacked me. But no need to get so annoyed, you obviously expect the fact it's a beta to be pointed out so why make an angry thread? Would be easier to make a suggestion (or reinforce the ones that have already been made) to improve the item descriptions so people know it's a boss.

 

They're already rebalancing these things. But I would like to see a slight cooldown for all boss activation items.

So much wrong with that sentence. Nobody is asking you to put on a dress but if you want nobody to care about your opinion then continue to hurl around bad language. It doesn't make you cool and it sure as hell doesn't gain you a single ounce of respect from either the community or the people you want to fix a problem. And don't bother coming back with "I don't care about this and that blah blah blah" as you clearly do care otherwise why would you even bother making a thread in the first place.

But seriously, it was pretty obvious it was going to be a boss without anyone telling me the second boss was a robot. Hell I didn't even know what the third boss was going to be but I knew it was summoned by the decoy thing.

The first boss got me, but hey you'd think you'd learn after the first boss that an item like that summons a boss.

 

I crafted it with in mind that it was more than likely a boss. Thought it was implied well enough. It takes a ton of resources to craft, requires getting an item with a specific gun, and the next tier item is a robotic crafting table, and requires a processor.
Then again, I approach most of this game with "probably gonna try and kill me" in mind.

Though the 1-hit KO is a bit bad.

Also, people lose interest in your point if you act like a child about it. I'd rather have someone who can easily give out their opinion calmly then someone who curses.

I made this thread to show that I thought there was a problem with the game, and I went about my way of doing it. It obviously worked too, because there were a few people that agreed with me. They may not have agreed with the way I worded it, but they got they idea.
