Well, this is awkward. I'm 27 years old, but this is the first forum I've made any real posts to (excluding intranet forums at work, Facebook, and one stint with a forum which shall not be named). I'm hoping I can contribute meaningfully to the community. The impetus for posting in the Introduce Yourself sub-forum is my snazzy new avatar which finally differentiates between me and Ibby. Hi, I'm Ibby, short for Ibraxis Meritworthy. I'm Fears's female alternate persona who comes out to play video games or draw things. You're probably never going to get to speak with me because- -she doesn't really exist, though it's occasionally fun to pretend she does. I'm a mathematician by education, a programmer through recreation, and a cubicle-dweller as my vocation. (And a word-smith by hobby.) I think that's enough random facts. I'm pleased to meet all of you! Fears out. P.S. ".sErin SoS." is a generic greeting in a language I created awhile ago. It roughly translates as "hello," "goodbye," or "good luck," depending on the context. (Technically, "sErin" means "good luck" while "SoS" is a general purpose amplifier, so it would literally translate as "lots of good luck," but I prefer the idiomatic translation.)
