Segregation

Thats funny, considering that Apex are smarter than humans, and since their bodies are closer to those of animals they're probably stronger too....

See you don't need to be Florian to eat all the other species out there... which lets be fair is probably what humans would do if we ever head out to the stars. Eat or make love to every alien thing out there..

As a Floran, 10/10 would totally eat at GFC.
On topic, I might have my cities segregated. Not like one race can't visit the other or anything like that, but I figure Avians might want to chill with other Avians, Humans with Humans, etc. Then again I might mix all the races into one giant melting pot (not literally, although it could be delicious... ). All depends on what looks coolest!

 

i'll invite every NPC to my city!
humans, apex, hylotl, avians, glitch and nova-kids are all brothers to me!
and florans can be my slaves or be used as fuel to my ship

 

I would think that in reality much as we have now, with the melting pots many countries have become. Different aliens would tend to segregate themselves and live with those of their own race. Avians would live with Avians in parts of the city designed for them, whilst other races would find themselves more comfortable with their own race too.
Lets be fair since Florians eat everyone, the only ones happy living with them would be the glitch since they aren't flesh.

 

True, true. They may be segregated in the beginning, but they won't when they're in my belly...
The Glitch will work in the mines, since they have no emotions; the Florans shall frolic above in the city, picking the bones of lesser species out of their teeth. I suppose the Novakids can stay, I'll bet they're great at parties.

 

haha just read your post and when you said they would be great at parties, I remembered they were bags of gas... and I thought what if they are like Helium... so I imagined a load of Florians all sitting round, inhaling the gas out of Novakids and getting squeaky voices lol

 

My glitch is going to be throwing anyone who isn't glitch into the cramped rusted slums. But other than RP situations? No.

 

What if inhaling gas out of novakids, is actually a sexual practice?
Unless they have gas bag genitalia, I would imagine the exchange of gasses through oral procedure would be the only way for them to reproduce.

 

Glitch will be melted down and used to make garbage cans.

 

As I said earlier... humans will go out and eat or have sex with everything... so either way I am sure someone will be enjoying the Novakids

As a human myself, I do indeed plan to eat avians and get high off of novakid babes.
Wonder what a human x Nova-kid child would look like . -. (Probably wouldn't work out though. due to being a different species and all.)

While I don't plan any sort of segregation and going to build a nice, probably even utopian society everywhere I step, there is one thing I can't understand.

Two bad things in real life: killing people, racial (among other kinds) discrimination. Why is it totally normal to discuss (and support) killing people and other supposedly sentient beings in games, while it seems to be wrong to discuss (and support) any sort of discrimination in games?

 

i'm tottaly going to be a nazi against florans in starbound, but that's just my roleplay
some people take moral stuff way to serious in games, and that's nonsense

 

I don't hate them either, but hey, a man has to live in luxury does he not?
