Server Help Security?

    Just wanted to know before I start up a server, how safe are these? Since the game's in beta, would it be easy for an outsider to get into my IP, and into my computer?

    That's, thankfully, not how IPs work. Everyone has an IP address and unless somebody plans to DDOS you it's perfectly safe to have it publicly visible, though dedicated servers will want a shortened address for ease of use.
