    Who dictates us how to beat this silly skeleton dragon? I was just using my best friend - dirt. Others did it as well and it is a legit way to kill this boss. Same with pirates killing it. I like this approach the most to be honest.

    @OP, I suggest to build a enclosed area, place the decoy and let the dragon inside this area. Break a hole into this enclosed area and fight him without much danger.
