Secret of the Bunny Altar?

Is there something that the Bunny Altar does? It took about 5 mins to deconstruct the thing. Is it special some how? or did the Devs just stick in 1 too many 0s somewhere?

 

I don't think the bunny alter does anything atm.

 

i seriously have no idea wtf is with that altar , as soon as i seen it was taken a long time to mine with a plat pickaxe then i just gave up and moved on , they would look cool with a avian race ship or palace yes but i have no use for them

Btw, it'll be easier to dig up the ground it was n; the statue will automatically pop out if you dig out what's under it.

 

you can break the blocks its standing on to get it instantly, i placed it in my ship... bad idea... with the second best (current) pick in the game, it look a minute or two to remove it, as you cant break the blocks its on... DEAR LORD, there has to be a Secret with it, or the Devs did screw up xD

 

That's what I am thinking. either:
1): It has some function we don't currently know
2): Devs entered wrong numbers on a random item
3): Both

 

but its a background item ? you cant stand on it

 

i bet it's actually the all seeing eye of Kluex himself.

but no, really. the coding is probably messed up.

side note, don't even bother scanning the little ducky in the 3d printer. it's....insane.

 

It still needs to be placed on blocks. but removing those said blocks makes the Stature break, just like other Background things, chests, etc, they cant float and there actually in a third "middle" layer, since you can place actual blocks in the real background behind them, but still walk in front of them.

 

What if it's the new angle statue...

 

Hi guys! This is my first post. As you may know, Tiy was a pixel artist forvthevgame Terraria, which has heavily influenced and inspired Starbound. This bunny is the same sprite as the one he created for Terraria. It's kind of iconic.

 

I think it should trigger a boss encounter...

 

it's currently tougher then most boss encounters if you try to hit it head on

 

It's the Starbound equivalent of Terraria's Angel Statue.
