Secret area of the Lunar Base!

I was wondering where you were, useless public service announcement guy! We had a good #16 posts before you. I'd call that a win.

 

Next time I go to play, I am so going to get that cat.

 

I have a question, the spikes outside of the map, do they lead anywhere? They seem curiously spaced out.

 

This must be the fourth or fifth time I've seen someone mention this (it's been all over Reddit and Steam) but great job on finding it on your own.

 

The only times I've managed to get anywhere over spikes, they've led to a dead end (usually in the form of either a drop-off or an invisible wall).

 

In mission three there's an are only reachable by morphball. You kinda just roll down a tube and there's a bunch of crates with bandages in them. There's also a human who will fight by your side.

 

I found the black cat too! I'll call him Whiskers The Wonder Cat! (<== Revenge of Cooler Abridged reference!)

 

im more interested in trying to get out of the cage a different way in floran hunting party.

you can see the wires that connect to the doors but ive yet to find out how to open them.

i do hope there is a way i was interested in seeing if that small area to begin with had any secret chests and so forth.

 

Someone should go admin mode and break things then come back to us with what they found! *no access to starbound atm so can't do that myself*

 

Unfortunately the thing connected to the doors is a lever, so no alternative routes out here. The other Persistent Switches lead to trapdoors and stuff.



This bit shows that either 101 or 010 works for opening the door.

 

Offtopic stuff, but what are those clothes you have on your character? It looks like a schoolgirl blouse with scarf and ...literal flower pants?

 

Quite the opposite, actually. Cowboy Jacket, Winter Scarf, Pirate Pants, Rainbow Cape.



The Rainbow Cape has a flower trail effect, if you stand in one place they build up at your feet.

 

Aww that looks so cute! I want that scarf! And awesome capes too, thought they would leave a nyan cat rainbow trail though.
