My suggestion aims to make our stellar nomads lives a bit easier when it comes to large inventories and maximize the "money-time" ingame by minimizing tiresome sorting chors for the player. It stands to reason that in a space faring environment there will be a commodity indexing service available; I would like to be able to wire up all the chests in a scene(E.G. in a house on a planet or on the ship) so they will count as one large pool of item for a commodity management console or a ship\house computer. I would then move my player character to the ship computer console and be able to deposit or search for an item. * it would be nice to have the ship computer automatically sort the items by type and put them in different boxes for me so when i'm popping a box with my pickaxe or something i'd get all my cobblestone for an instance and i know that i'll have all the building materials i can wish for because i've already took the time to pick it up and mine it. Keep up the good work, I'm one happy Koala! Tell me what you think guys! (and gals, ofc) P.S. Oh, and i would like the UI to remember where I place my windows! That's it, I'll shut up now. :S
I would like something like this. As it is, there's already a small sign of this in the way the game sorts dirt and such from the main inventory. Perhaps this could be a thing. I certainly wouldn't be against an "Auto-sort" button.
