When I installed SMAPI version 1.2 it seems something went haywire. The error message says SDL2.dll is missing. Where should it be, and how do I reverse the damage? My system is Linux Mint 17.2 64-bit. Any help is appreciated.

The good news is, the vanilla game still runs.

Did you make sure to install the linux version?

^ Thank you. It says 'copy the contents of the "Mono" folder into the game directory. That would be /Gog Games/Stardew Valley, yes?

There should be a installer there to install the modding API, it is quite new, so the installation instructions might be outdated.

Let me ping @Pathoschild for you, since this issue seems to be outside my knowledge, I unfortunately only have basic familiarity with linux.

There was another player with the same problem; they fixed it by installing a package, but I can't find that conversation now. Try installing the mono-complete package?

Just went through the steps to get mono-complete. Looks fine except for this:

Thanks, Pathos. And, in your ear... maybe some bright, up-and-coming fellow will create an installation script. Who knows?
