nice idea, funny looking way to implement the spinning animation without doing actual new sprites =) only concern is for gamebalance. Invincible during the tech and dealing damage at the same time is a bit much for this game. Can you make it adjustable?
Hey, if you use a teleporter while screwattacking you gain the visual effect permanantly for a few minutes! it only wears off in time, so you can screw attack again and it doesnt go away, doesnt do damage though... View attachment 162350
You can force player animation states (idle, sit, walk, fly, swim, duck, etc etc) Use tech.setParentState("duck") when it's active and tech.setParentState() to reset when it's not. Tech doesn't seem to activate while falling so even with energy I just end up dropping and taking fall damage.

Wonderful idea. The control feels pretty clunky right now though. It doesn't seem to respond well in the air and activating it is sort of hit or miss. I hope you're planning on polishing it up a little more. Great work so far!
this is cool, but this should be named space jump since the screw attack only makes it so you do damage.
