Screen Glitch

Hi, I have about 100 hours in starbound and a very powerful computer that can run the game smoothly, but ever since i started playing I've been getting this weird screen glitch where there is a flashing line around the bottom half of the screen, at first if was not often and I would ignore it as it wasn't very noticeable but only recently has it been getting bad, the line appears more often and is become more of a block than a line that ends up taking about 1/5 of my screen, it only flashes for a split second but is constant, any idea why this is happening and what I could do to fix it? Thanks in advance.

 

Maybe provide computer specs? I'm not a tech genius but someone else could use that info. Maybe a log could help also (just in case).
