Scrapyard Planets / Junk Planets

1. The planet is a total junkyard and has many different scraps and technology.
2. The planets Atmosphere is full of broken space stations and satatlites.
3. The ground of the planet is all different kinds of materials and little amounts of ore everywhere and the core of the planet is dead and dull from pollution.
4. Plant life is very rare on the planet surface but in underground caves, plants flourish with bright neon colors like green, blue, purple and etc.
5. In the scraps you could find very good ore or very bad ore but they would be scattered across the ground not near each other.
6. The planets scrapyard technology depends on how advanced the planet was or how advanced the people used to be on it were.
7. Technology you find on the planet could help you upgrade your Weapons, Mounts, Space Station, Space ship, Pets, and etc.
8. You have a small chance to find a broken droid or robot that could b fixed to help you or fix things.
9. Could have a small chance to find a working bunker that could have valuable information on the planet or other planets with good ores and etc.
10. The planet could have never ending storms and there would always be an electrical interference or power problems.
11. Look at the pictures below to see how the Atmosphere would look like around the planet. Like this Thread if you think this should be in the game!

 

5 is my favorite feature here, and I was specifically looking for it. Just the idea of tons of tiny amounts of random minerals from random junk being slung all over the planet seems interesting to me.

I like it. It would be neat if things shifted around, too.

 

I think the ideas should be split into 2:

1. Just a deserted wasteland, full of junk. A dusty atmosphere, and no vegetation. Here, you can find old technology etc etc. Robots [bit like Wall-E] would be scattered around the place, rather rare and able to use to your advantage.

2. A planet with a catastrophic atmosphere, originally a city, but destroyed by storms and atmospheric changes and turned into a dead habitat, these planets are rarer but you can find better technology. Much more dangerous, with more hostile activity. Storms constantly destroying the area, causing explosions around you. Volcano's, hurricanes, tornados. Once a city, now a dangerous ruin. Can find robbers and scavengers looking for technology, can be hostile.

I really like it!

 

Certain areas could have radiation, thus adding a new hazard. Maybe the best loot from this planet could be there.

I've seen other posts similar to this idea, but you've gone the most into it, bravo, and love the idea!
