RELEASED SBSE - Customize your player colors using any color!

Help, I've tried every browser I can, firefox, opera, chrome. Everytime I click save it becomes stuck with this gray and never gives me a download link.

Same problem with StarReader too

 

i'd love to see some work added into changing the foot color for avians, as well as their belly fluff, if possible.

would you please add a way to modify some gun-related stuff, like projectiletype?

 

Looks like some weapons can be coloured too, can you add a way to edit the colors of item that are compatible?

 

I have noticed you do not have the Back item Terrifying Wings in your editor it would be nice if you could add them so that one can recolor them.

 

I've got a new update in the works that adds the ability to change your name, stance (both arm and body for unique stances), and hair type. I haven't had much time to work on it due to holidays, but after Christmas I'll try to push it out ASAP. I'll try to work in some support for specific Avian parts, as well as an advanced mode for people to manually tweak color replacements.

For more inventory editor stuff, I'm interested in eventually making something to handle it, but I'd like to know more about the system before I release anything. Specifically, I'd like to have the ability to generate weapons, guns and shields using the same methods the game uses. I need to look in to specifically how that's done first, which could take some time unless someone already has that information they're willing to share.

Also any missing items should be added in shortly, I need to make sure my web app's assets folder is up to date which takes a few hours to do.

 

Can you let us change race?

 

Once I get the rest of the coming soon list done I'll look in to race changes. I don't think it should be too hard but it will involve a lot of checks to make sure things like your hair are corrected to the new race, which will be easier once I've implemented my hair change code.

Bah, my VPS has been going up and down over the last day or so and I'm not sure why. If you try to access the website and it doesn't load, best thing to do is sit tight until it comes back up. Hopefully the problem should go away soon, I'll have to get a new VPS otherwise.

Does this work on multiplayer? Can other people see the color changes?

 

The preview shows my character with all the default colors and no changes I make seem to make any difference. The same think happens with the forums character maker. I can't seem to update colors on there either. I am running the latest version of Firefox. Any idea what could be causing it?

This is hands down my favorite starbound thingy-ding thus far. Definitely excited to see where you take it!

 

Very cool, nice Job! It would be quite nice being able to change the colour of the Copper Helmet completely, not just the borders.

 

I tried it on a normal human and a modded species. Nothing is happening/character is gone. You are supposed to replace the player file with the edited one, correct? I'm not sure what I am doing wrong, but I am using Safari on a Mac if that helps.
