How do you change the folder that it reads? Because i want it to read the unstable version instead of the regular version

    I have that problem too

I have fixed the problem. I think it was because i was trying to run custom player files (Modded races) without their mods, so i removed the modded player files and it started working again.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling SBSE but it keeps having a "SBSE TypeError" and that the operation may not have completed, when trying to select the Starbound folder it says it can't find the bootstrap or something like that.

Anyone know a solution or just need to wait for it to be updated?

SBSE won't work with the new update, sadly, so we'll have to wait.

It'd be nice if this were made open-source..

Update is inbound. Currently supporting Pleased Giraffe, includes the experimental build changes in addition to more idle arm poses being made available. The new SB update uses some new PNG files that break the PNG decoder I am using so the previews are bugged depending on what you're wearing, but once that is fixed the new version will be pushed as an official update. I estimate the release this weekend some time. Stay tuned.

SBSE Desktop 0.10.0 is officially released. Pleased Giraffe is now supported, and along with a pile of fixes I've added the ability to set your idle arm pose to nearly any pose rather than just the 5 idle poses. You can also set the arm offset to get better manual positioning. Here's a screenshot:

You can download the update by starting SBSE or visiting the links below. This release is the first time I've built for Linux, so forgive me if it's packaged in a weird way. Linux build is experimental but should be stable, the only issue is a visual one that has to do with the edges of the window not being rounded. Incredibly minor.

    Here's the info:
    • SBSE Desktop 0.10.0

Unfortunately, my SBSE is unable to locate the player binaries folder, even when I attempt to go all the way to "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Starbound\giraffe_storage\player" it resets and as if I had not done anything, it tells me to redo it... Can anyone help me fix this?

Edit: Nevermind, I just selected C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Starbound, and it worked

I messed up my color directives! I added one and edited them but now I can't change my hair at all! Any way to fix this? Thanks!

Is it possible to change clothes with this? my character got bugged when I put on some green dress I found inside of a chest, and now I can't play as that character.

No, you cannot change clothes with it. You can submit a bug thread in the In-Game and Billing Support Subforum so that your problem can be resolved.

Unfortunately, every time I try to run it, it gives this error:
    Warning: Encountered SBSE RangeError
    Operation may not have completed.

and is then stuck on reading the player files. I'm not sure what I may need to do, but anyone know how to fix this?
