Save restarts to intro on xbox

So i started up stardew like usual but when i selected my save it went to the chucklefish intro as if i just started the game. i have restared, shutdown my xbox, uninstalled then reinstalled tried it multiple times with the same result of not loading just the intro. i really dont want to just start over and lose all my progress and i know other people are having the same problem. a hotfix, not a full on update, would be nice to just fix this.
