Save file vanished!

Hello everyone,

after a long time I started playing Starbound again a few days ago. I played with my old save file and everything was fine until today the game crashed on some planet. I had to restart the game only to find my save slots empty!
I would really like to recover it, if somehow possible. I played for a long time and it feels terrible to loose everything now.
I would be really grateful for any tips on how to maybe restore that game.
