There's important thing to note: the recipe learning mechanism itself has been changed. From modder's view: you no longer learn the "recipe", you learn the ITEM and all the recipes connected to it. This is the reason why old recipes for Silver, Golden, Platinum and other armours suddenly broke and I had to create the entirely new ones. tl;dr: if the item name and the recipe name doesn't match, and you'll forget about it - prepare for trouble.

 

Ah, I see. I haven't modded this since last fall. I'm finding things are annoyingly different.

What is the other Clef pack? I assume one is stable but is the other cheats, common, or extra?

 

Its in sp folder sp=singleplayer this mods have massive issues with multiplayer

 

I know where it is, but I don't know what it is. There are two clef packs, I assume one is stable but I don't know what the other is.

Taken from clef page:

• CLeF - Common, contains the core mod files common for all supported game versions
• CLeF - Extra, contains additional core mod files incompatible/overlapping functionality with third-parties. Consult the "Gameplay changes" section for details
• CLeF - SG Stable, contains files required ONLY for Stable Spirited Giraffe Update 5 (May 8)
• CLeF - PG Nightly, contains files required ONLY for Nightly Pleased Giraffe Update 0 (May 14)
• CLeF - Cheats, if you hate the restrictions which were imposed on us by Chucklefish (and want to loot everything in the scripted worlds)

 

clefc.modpak is CLeF - Common
clefs.modpak is CLeF - SG Stable

You need both for it to work.

 

um where do i download the other folder cause i have the serious starbound 81 folder, but no the other, btw i support you and this modpack all the way ^u^

 

If you are playing Single-Player, just copy over the .modpak files from the folder.

 

I have tried getting the modpack, but mediafire is not letting me download. is there anyway at all you can direct the link to another download site. i have tried 3 different browsers to download the .modpack from mediafire. im sorry its not working correctly.

I'm thinking of joining the server mentioned on this page, but I wonder if I can play in the server with some extra mods installed....

Also might I add that please try and prevent removing mods when updating the mod pack. I haven't updated the pack pack few weeks ago since you removed a mod I was focusing on that playthrough, but you did say that it was incompatible so I clearly understand that. In the end of the day it's your decision and not mine, I was just sorta giving you my problems and suggestions on the mod.

Pretty sure servers require exactly the same mods in order to join and play.
