Wait wait.... you downloaded mods from somewhere else. NO. Only the version in the mod pack, thats the ONLY way it works. They are specifically configured to work with each other.

Do not download anything but the mod pack. NOTHING ELSE. You will have problems.

The mods you downloaded are causing problems. I keep telling people this mod pack will cause problems if you download stuff from somewhere else. Solving those issues are UP TO YOU. I have specifically made so that the mods ONLY IN MY MOD PACK WORK. Making other stuff work would require specific compatibility patches and i'm trying to avoid messing with those.

So i have compatibility patches integrated into the mod pack. Thats why its not working for you. Use only the files and versions from the S3r1ous Mods then you will have no issues. I guarantee it.

I thought that this was a link for error logs. My fault for misinterpreting what you had posted. When the links were all listed, I made the wrong assumption that each file had to be downloaded separately.

I'm assuming this is where DJ ran into issues as well.

and no you dont need to download anything separately, everything is included in 2 files:

v53 + latest patch.

 

Thanks for the help in getting it to work, my review has been changed. ^_^ I don't know if you take suggestions, but here's a list of mods I think would be sweet to see in this pack in the future: Armor Stand Tables, Dye Mod, Lyetzi's Gunshop Mod, and possibly Defense Turret (I've yet to test this one, so I'm hesitant to fully endorse, but if it works like I hope it does, it would be awesome). Again, thanks for your time!

 

Armor Stand Tables - Author doesn't allow to include it in modifications
With other 3, i'll take a look, i need to speak with the authors to see if they allow it.



UPDATE Hmm. Can't add them. I already have a mod that adds guns. Dye mod causes issues in Multiplayer. Armor stands aren't allowed. Turrets are already ingame.

Just wanted to let you know, the recipes for Matrix Compilers Violium, Rubium, and Impervium all need to have Solarium Rods changed to Solarium Stars due to the former being removed from the game.

Wait... is this in unstable or something. Or is it removed by mod?

 

I've done some checking, and it seems to be similar to the coal chunks. You can actually make the solarium rods, as long as you use a furnace made at the machinery crafting table. The solarium rods used to be a vanilla item, but was replaced by the solarium star. Now some mods are still using the rods. So they can actually still be made in this mod pack, it's just a very specific process.

 

Sounds like wires crossed---somewhere in there.

at first I must say that this Modpack is absolutely amazing !
I really do love this so much.

But I have a few Questions and perhaps are some dumb and I hope really that you can help me out with some Answers.

What I have to do when the Modpack get an Update from you ? Only the Download Link to the right Hand Side or all again like before as I installed the Modpack first Time ?
When I want to customize my Ship...did I become later Problems when the Ship gets Upgrades ? Or does the Ship Upgrade doesnt work ? I mean when I built my Ship larger and get an Ship Upgrade (then grows the Ship) but when there are Blocks where the Ship after Upgrade expands it could get Problems...?
And the last one is how I can get NPC´s to my Ship ?

I love this mod pack, so much to do. But, all the ores in the ground have turned to coal. I can't mine anything but coal.

 

Coal is more plentiful because its used more. Keep mining and keep searching you will find other materials. You might have just happened to land on a coal planet.

When i release an update you can either use the S3r1ous Update System or download the update and replace the files. Minor updates will only contain exactly that updates, nothing more. So you don't have to download everything again.

Yes, upgrade first then customize preferably.

Oehm, how can I get Modded Races ?

 

I got a question do you have the same problem with coals as the other guy says cause i'm not getting it? Well i did make it only for the Stable version of Starbound.

No no.... you should be able to tier up whenever.

Modded races - just copy its file to the mods folder, make sure everything has its own folder.

 

No sorry, I dont have the same Problem like WubbaTree. Every single Ore that the Mod includes is available I would say.

I feel dumb for asking this but before I installed any mods, I could break walls with a pick by right clicking... now, with this mod (and only this mod) I cannot do that any longer. Is there a different way now? I looked to see if there was a hammer (i.e. Terraria) but couldn't find one.

Well, I didn't see the other guy's post, but the problem persisted. I jumped to multiple planets and dug down. I will test the mod again, I'm using Starbound on mac and downloading it from steam.
