For upper-tier ores you use uranium, plutonium, and solarium ore. So Coal isn't that big of a deal. Once you have those ores you can smelt anything of those tier planets and BELOW with it, so if you need steel (for example), just use uranium/plutonium/solarium to smelt it.

If you still need more coal, you can now make that in the fusion reactor under "Ore" I believe

You can also craft the original furnace in the "?" tab of your crafting table, if you need it for any mods in this.

You should be able to smelt 1 coal and 1 iron bar to make it (In an iron furnace)

I deleted my universe, and still cannot use the new furnaces. I'll try making a new character..

 

Deleting your universe and making a new character won't work, he may just be missing something. It's an error with the object itself.

If anything download the original Atomworks mod and put it in your mods folder, it'll more then likely overwrite a few things fixing the error.

 

Heres the error log you ungrateful people who can't handle mod development, THERE ARE NO ERRORS on my end with this latest modpack, what ever you are getting could simply be a game bug(can't fix those myself), mod errors, SAVE CORRUPTION

Furnaces are there, i see em, what seems to be a problem?

Infact there are 3 different furnaces

 

Infact 42.7 is the most stable version i have seen yet.... its amazing how ignorant people can be

I believe you, i just keep hearing from people that the furnaces are missing slots, and I am unsure why

Also there is more then 3 i believe...7 from what I recall, but then again I'm using my version and not the mod pack so no idea what you changed

 

ProfessionBound added sum if i recall correctly and changed them around, then again i just started playing and didn't upgrade any

 

are mods that add items like real ninja stuff and others compatible with this mod pack?
i miss all those items...

 

Can't say for sure, should be, but you need to test first

 

Not sure if this is the place to ask this but, does anyone know why when night falls w/ this modpack, everything ceases to work? Such as doors, weapon effects don't show properly, blocks cannot be destroyed, etc.. Is there some mod causing this?

 

ProfessionBound is the cause of it, deleting it from your mods folder should take care of that problem.

 

Much appreciated! Works like a charm, not sure why that was happening. It did turn some of my items into perfectly generic items (not sure what items I had honestly lol) but hopefully it didn't break another mod.

 

No, the items that turned into PGIs were only those added by ProfessionBound and won't affect the other mods.

There is a use for those PGIs though.

 

i want to delete the atomworks mod, which modpak is it?
