i start to get this error

when i take out the mod pack it doesnt show that error i tried re downloading and everything might be the new update

 

Yeah, I did the same thing. Guess we just have to wait until he updates again.

Yep, its due to 1 thing. the new pak system. its not like the old pak system, ive tried changing if you open the .pak in notepad and change Asset1 to Asset2 to unpack it, it still gives you an error. so all of the mods have to come from the original owners who HOPEFULLY have the unpacked versions of the mods, and can repack them into new .pak files.

I just went through and recompiled all of my mods that werent in pak format, into pak format. and I tried unpacking some of the serious mods that were in previous pak format, and it doesnt work so unless anyone happens to have an old unpacker lol then we are kind of screwed

thanks for the fix i hope they get to a point where we wont have to worry about the new updates

seems like some of the mods dont load up this new update really messed this mod pack

New version will be more design focused.
More akin to expanded Starter edition and maybe Starfoundry project.
No-longer 1000 different mods, instead carefully selected set of major improvements.
Also its AIO now. No more illuminated or starter editions.
Quality over Quantity.

Man I'm really depressed. I worked my ass off on a character with the old s3r1ous mod. I almost crapped myself in happiness when I saw your update come out, thinking it all converted. So I deleted the old s3r1ous mod, and installed the new one. I get asset error whenever I go on my character, it claims that I have shit in my inventory that I don't have installed. so yeah... I hope you can convert all mods from the old pack, please drop me a PM if you can when that is done, I can't wait to play my char again.

What is this exactly?

Also is madtulip's mod included? Because I think that the modifyable ship thing is what crashes me. Due to it's missing.

Thats why i skipped it, problems with a new version, dammit....
jeez i would probably have to build the whole pack from beginning just to get this working... sorry man...

Once i figure out the way to fix it or author updates ill add it back in. Its still my favorite ship mod u know.

Yeah i took whole day to figure out which mods exactly add what to the game. Isolated those. Kept the best.

 

to be honest i didnt use a lot of the mods in the original mod pack
