I'm not quite certain how exactly the magic system in this RP is going to work. Whether it's on a spell by spell basis like Harry Potter or a more free form control such as Avatar: The Last Airbender. I'll check in with @Relten and then notify you here, unless he wants to explain things himself.
Alright, updated /w inventory. I didn't include it in this version, but would it be reasonable to have a vehicle? Something like an old savaged junker?
OH MAN I CAN NOT BELIEVE THAT I LEFT FOR ANOTHER MENTAL BREAK BEFORE JOINING THIS RP. I was so hype. Also a tiny bit disappointed that my glass people didn't become a race. ;-; Could I make a character? I mean if I promise to not die again.
Maybe not super fragile glass, more like that kind of glass that can take some punishment, but still not too much. Plus they'd be like half organic in a way too so they aren't killed by something shoving them over.
Race: Human Name: Hunter Age:21 Pros: Gunman: Years of shootouts in the streets and shooting around civilians have rendered him a crack shot with sidearms Guardian:Will head into danger to defend others, more so of close allies. Hardy: Many battles and old wounds have made him able to ignore large amounts of pain and take whatever life throws at him. Chivalrous: Fighting through the hindrance of no social skills whatsoever, he maintains an nearly extinct form of leading kindness, especially towards women. Old Tech savvy: He can work an old piece of technology any way you want it. Resourceful: Leave him alone long enough with a piece of equipment, supplies and his tools, and you will get a moderately well made tool fitting of your needs. Over prepares:Most people prepare for a small battle, he prepares for a War. Blunt Weapon Specialist: He has no problem using any solid instrument nearby to lay out an unalarmed enemy. Cons: Socially awkward: Has a rough time saying what he means and usually ends up causing more confusion than staying dead silent. Magically Ignorant: Spent enough time to understand magic and haven't touched it since. Attitude Changes: When he becomes angry, he will push through time consuming challenges and rush the situation Lost in new Tech: Don't expect a miracle with the newest technology. Strange style:His way of dress is one of a kind in a bad way, and he has trouble being missed, even in a crowd. Strict Morals: He WILL NOT commit an action to harm the people, and if you want him to you better be ready to convince the world with him. Soft Hearted:Unless you have a gun on him or made fun of him, he will likely give you a second chance. Bladed Weapon lacking: He rarely uses knives or swords, preferring lead to steel . Over Anticipating: His odds on a situation are much different to someone else's, in the opposition's favor. Tightly Wound: He doesn't have a sense of humor and is always alert, seeming less appealing in a nonhostile environment, but missing little. Panics in heavy odds: 2\1 odds he can handle, anything much worse and he starts to lose it. This is less serious in a Standoff or barehanded fight. ]Character Inventory Drifter Outfit Thin Small Caliber Stopping steel plate Vest 2 Model 3 Breaktop Schofield Revolvers Outer Worn leather holsters Small Ammo Bandolier 4 .44 Interchangeable Cylinder 72 .44 Magnum shells Multi Bladed tool ((Think Swiss army knife)) 2 Old books Compact tool kit (Repair or replacement) 3 Days of rations 2 Small Tactical pouches (Fit to carry most any small items) Wide brimmed hat(Can't forget that!) Name: Lachlan Kelly Race: Human Description: Above average height(6 foot 2), Averagely weighted(190 pounds), soft creamy skin tone with some tanned spots, tired eyes with steel grey irises, auburn hair that changes from red to dark brown depending on the light, hair style is floofed upwards but short enough that it doesn't look like some kind of weird fauxhawk, relatively athletic build. (Age, 31) Inventory: -A full bronze Spatha that extends from a flashlight(The flashlight doesn't actually work) THIS -Hardened leather jacket with thin steel padding in elbows, shoulders, and back. THIS -Classic white t-shirt undershirt -Black jeans with deep pockets -A pair of bronze rim aviation goggles that he almost never wears over his eyes -Standard hiking shoes, with socks of course -Emerald pendant of steel given to him by his Wverian lover THIS -Pretty much just random pocket items like spare change and gum, he travels light Backstory: Lachlan's been a part of the human race for a long time now, always spending his time with humans. But it wasn't until the day that the Great War started that he realized how awful many of his people are, under normal circumstances they are quite fine but under more dire circumstances most humans would turn to terrible things, while the more pure of heart, he noticed, would steer clear of those actions and rather aid ones in need. These were the people he tried to group with after the Great War, but he wasn't allowed very far for he was a child throughout the Great War, even if he did grow up much faster than he would've outside of wartime. Although he was split up from his old friends he turned to the other races for company, while at most times he was turned away, he still tried. If not to just see whetehr they were really different from humanity or not. He soon found a beautiful Wverian girl, who he claimed to love, and inverse as well. Although it was short lived due to familial issues and something of an accident, this lead Lachlan to have more of a xenophiliac ideology. Hoping that all races can live in perfect harmony without regard for each other's flaws. Traits: -Warm-hearted: Will help those in need, does not look for a reward but often gets one anyway. -Survivalist: Good at finding ways to survive, can meal of varying quality out of almost anything, can survive a little longer without food or sleep. -Adventurer: Can walk and hike for hours, despite his low energy exhaustion capacity he can keep a slow steady pace for a very long time with a break. Flaws: -Naive: Will definitely walk into a trap without forseeing it beforehand, or will take the chance that people truly are in need regardless of what he's told. -Preference of other races: Prefers to make friends with, and like other races than Humans, despite the other races generally disliking the fact that he himself is a human. -Bad judge of personality: He takes too much time to realize that someone may be a little more than rough around the edges, unless it's completely blatant of course. Strength: 6 Endurance: 4 Speed: 6 Dexterity: 4 Perception: 3 Personality: 5 Willpower: 7+1 Intelligence: 4 Fortune: 6 TOTAL: 46 APOLOGIES IF I MESSED UP THE BACKSTORY, I REALLY DON'T KNOW MUCH AT ALL ABOUT THE RP HISTORY.
There are a few discrepancies I'd like to point out. For example, I thought you had established him as an unknown drifter whom nobody knows, yet he's famous? Also, blunt weapon specialist but at the same time not good with melee? There are more, but I'm too lazy to point them out.
44 magnums were invented in the 50s...So you might want to swap your magnum for either a .38 Special, or a .38/44 revolver, or even a 7.63×25mm Firing Mauser C96. As for the vest, I should inform you that bullet proof vests were not really a thing in the 20s. Most gangsters just wore a ton of silk garments under their outfits which merely stopped the weaker pistol rounds of the era. it is by no means, totally bullet proof. If you want to be bulletproof, you might want to wear one of these WW1 era monstrosities:
