Rudest starting planet ever?

I start a new universe to test out the Angry Koala update and what do I start with? Beamed down into a poison pool with no way out. Thank you RNG!

Uh, What? This exact same thing happened to me. That same bridge thing. Same planet type and all.

 

It seems to be happening to quite a few people, lots more screenshots on reddit. And yes it's a pretty similar issue for RNG to be reproducing the same problem on different planets.

 

What is the material the bridge is made out of? Is it tough to mine?

 

Is there any particular reason why you can't just go through the dirt?

 

My first planet warped into a building with 2 security bots. It was almost always insta death but eventually I made it out .

 

That's not the point, of course you can go under, it's just really quite rude to chuck a fresh player into a weird situation like that.
