Thank you for reassuring me that I'm not the only person that wants rocket jumping in Starbound.

 

What about Quake's rocket launcher? It looks weird, it's held weird...

so yah they are in the game

 

There was also Mission: Impossible for the N64, in which rocket launchers were pistols because there were no rifle models the player had access to. (If I recall correctly)

 

There needs to be a gun that's like 10 times the size of your character and makes you move super slow (or is a turret). It charges up for like 5 long seconds before it just fires a single bullet for 1 damage. OR it shoots a giant laser beam!

 

That would be my main weapon.

 

MM... The rocket launchers i've seen so far are OKAY..
