Ridiculous/Hilarious/Hearty-chuckle-inducing Weapons Thread!!! Post today!

Hey everyone in the Starbound forums! Have you gotten strange or odd weapons over your time playing so far? If yes, just post below your experiences with some of your funniest weapons and feel free to also leave a screenshot of it! Thanks and have a good time sharing with everyone!

 

I found a legendary Grenade launcher that shot Dynamite strapped to pigs and they ran forward til they hit a monster.. I miss that gun.

 

I keep on finding Crappy Broadswords named Useless/Crappy/Feeble "Bastard Sword". I don't think that name will last.

 

I found this:

It has poison on left attack, and fire on right attack. And you can hold down rmb to get a wall of flame in front of you.

A bastard sword is an actual thing, so yeah, that name is fine.

 

Name: Sharp SlashSlasher

Way it works: 5,3k damage broadsword. Kill everything but lvl 10 minibosses in one hit. (Not the same weapon)


Both died in the spaceship-wipe.

 

All it will take is one angry parent ranting very loudly and the next thing you know it that we shall be deprived of the Bastard Sword.

 

Why when the word Bastard is use to describe a weapon or tool it's meaning is unusual shape... They really should teach people that word's have more than just derogative meaning's, so if an angry parent does complain they will be told they need to go back to school to learn a word's meaning lmfao

As far as I know, Bastard swords are those that can be used as one and two handed swords too. In real life ofcourse. Also the name came from bastard sons in the medieval ages. 1.5 hand to use, 1.5 part of the original family. Or something like that.

 

Actually relating to swords it was because you could hold them with one hand or two: they were neither a one-hand sword, neither a two hands sword, and hence the term "bastard" and also "hand-and-a-half sword"

 

While I no longer have it (Wipes, yay β!), I did have a shield named the 'Dudebro dinnertray.'
