I think it would be cool to be able to use a sufficiently sized animal as a mount. There should be more than just land mounts though, like flying, gliding, swimming, and perhaps burrowing. I'm not entirely sure how mounting a burrowing animal would go, but suggestions are meant to help give ideas.
it would be cool if you could get some pets that could do certain things. example: have one pet that is able to swim in lava but not water
I would love certain mounts that are used for different things. Say you want to travel fast then a medium to small animal that sprints fast or something You want to flatten out the land, get a huge hulking creature with tusks that dig out the dirt in front and flattens everything Want a war mount, get a monster with poisonous vomit or a creature that helps you get in and out quickly like a quick dash/jump back.

Humans need horses. They're a part of human culture and fit in with the other clashes of dated tech vs. futuristic tech seen in the game.
Staying simple, I'd like to see horses. I've always been a big fan of horses in games. Legend of Zelda, Shadow of the Colossus, Red Dead Redemption, the Elder Scrolls etc. Trusty transportation as well as man's next best friend.
Giant, rideable, flaming, War Sloths. Nuff' said. Joking aside, nice idea! It'd be cool to ride a pet into battle or fly it around for a bit.
