Not letting some offhand nickname slow him down too much, Surge continued his patrol around the periphery of the landing site. Didn't want any surprises to sneak up on them.
"Best way to judge a man? I won't dare ask how you judge women!" She laughs obnoxiously and looks around the forest. "Damn, I'll have to wrap my feet, with all this brush. How inconvenient." She hunkers down on the ground and removes the wrapping from her calves, re-wrapping the bindings on her feet.
"Where are we going and when are we leaving?" Kane's mouth temporarily twitches into a near imperceptible smirk.
"Eh, I'll try any food at least once! What is it?" She stops wrapping her other foot to reach up for the flask.
-ko "a special brew I call nova cream. no other alcohol is so sweet and strong at the same time" he says proudly
She takes the flask and takes a small sip. "Whoa, there." She hands it back to Ko, shaking her head. "That is some interesting stuff..." She coughs a couple times and finishes her foot bindings. She stands up and stretches, cracking her neck and touching her toes. "I'm ready to go."
"Seven hells. Okay, I'm going to venture out and explore." Kane heads back to the rest of the group. "I'm going to be doing some scouting up ahead. Anyone coming with?"
-ko ko laughs at her reaction "strong,eh? this will have to last me the whole trip though..." he says kind of wistfully
Lilah finishes stretching and pipes up, "Yup, I'm all ready to go." "Ha! Don't worry about it. I won't be wanting any more of the stuff." She walks in Kane's general direction, staring analytically into the brush and trees ahead.
