Modding Help Replace Primary Weapon Ability With Alt Ability?

I was wondering if I could make a custom spear and simply replace it's primary attack with one of the alt abilities? Or how would I go about doing so? Is it even possible to do such a thing? Thanks in advance to anyone who has any answers
