Closed Repeatedly Dying Bug

    I am playing on the latest update of Pleased Giraffe on OSX Yosemite. While playing on a public server with my friends, I was disconnected from the server. When I reconnected my character would die and as soon as he spawned back, die again infinitely. I tried playing on single player with the same character and the bug carried over there as well. I've tried restarting the game but nothing was affected. If anyone could help me with this it would be greatly appreciated.

    Most likely the work of a griefer - if possible, try and grab Starcheat and look for any highly suspicious items. Examples would probably be items you don't think you had, anything with a colored name, or things with lots of statuses attached to them.
    Griefers are scummy and enjoy abusing the game's code to make others miserable.

    You will find it : programfiles(86)/steam/steamapps/common/starbound/giraffe_storage - it will say either starbound (could be text document) or starbound.log The one that just says starbound is the most recent. Then just upload a file from the bottom left of this screen.

    Very first thing I noticed were mods. I have those exact two and my system crashed. Try removing them.
    The other stuff.....May be a job for lazarus, but before I call him in, are you using an Apple?

    I tried removing the mods, but that seemed to have no effect, I'm using a 2013 iMac.

    That's what I thought I read. Unfortunately, lazarus doesn't know much at all about a Mac. I am so very sorry. Maybe someone else who knows about them can help

    And nobody thinks my ship-lock idea is a good one.

    I was able to use Starcheat to go into my character's inventory. someone placed some cupid's wings in it and a cameraman's helmet. I looked at the description of both and they both said in red text "THE OUTPOST IS DOOMED!!!!" . I was able to remove both and now I can finally play my character. Thanks everyone! :DD
