Repair tools, not working?

Hey everyone.
I don't get how you repair tools any more. I tried it the old way, so did my friends, by using a ore and right clicking the tool. But nothing happens when we do that. We've tried all different kind of ores but nothing seams to work.

Anyone have a solution to our problem?

Tools like pickaxes are now meant as quick mining buffs instead of as the tool you use all the time. The matter manipulator has taken the role of the normal mining tool instead.

With that in mind they decided to remove repairability from mining pickaxes and drills (off course people that are going to mine something big just carry around 10 of them in the inventory instead so i dont realy see the point either).
