That reminds me of Diskworld's trolls.

 

Diskworld is awsome i saw a movie about one of the books then i looked up the books and they sound awsome i want to read them and on topic this race does share similarities with the trolls in that they have a rocks like body (gems for the majority of the species) for the first exaple i can think of there may be more but im too lazy

 

Many outcast Gemétoile take refuge in the planets housed by their best friend the Glitch. Often times these Gemétoile get ideas and "Perfect" Glitch armor and weapons.

 

Awesome work with the sprites. Now this is my opinion, but sciense you're going for the sorta french medievial/renecanse (I have no idea on how to actually spell those) theme, maby that sword is a little to big? I'd personally think more like a rapiere or saber(?) or that kind of weapon.

 

I defiantly agree with these. Tiy, add this to the game!

Oh well, i have to say that i really like the Design and the Ideas behind this Race.

 

I think the sword is large because one it looks nicer or more fun to look at or two because starbound probably lacks those weapons because the game's style and the lack of taking itself seriously. Also doesn't it say that the Gemétoile try to perfect glitch stuff and the glitch are closer to low-mid ages of the medival era so it makes sense for there to be a big sword

 

That sword is actually a weapon in game that I recolored to follow the gems color pallet. Its a Glitch weapon so it goes with the theme in that picture of "perfecting Glitch tech."

Yeah that sword was from the roadmap screenshot, I was just explains why you would choose the weapon instead of making your own.

 

Diana prefers a Katana anyway.

Heh I just want her to Zan Datsu people. Also it alludes to Dianas last name so its story plot stuff. (Mind you just my own little story but still. XP)
