Remove Abigail petition

It greatly disturbs me that the forum theme contains the worst girl in the entire game.
How does she deserve to be above the other possible NPCs by having her icon as the 'villagers' icon on the wiki?
But I have enough bravery and confidence to say what (I bet) everyone is thinking about.
This immature, rebel wannabe deserves nothing but a bullet in her forehead.
I'm sure there's plenty other, BETTER grills to take her place.

I also desire a better selection of grills. I find that the current options fail to sufficiently barbecue my burger.

 

There is no reason to remove any of the marriage candidate none of them are any better than the other that is probably the biggest gem of the game you are free to deiced whose story you like the most there are people who love Abigail just like there are people who fancy Haley I personally love Leah and relate to her best. Also ConcernedApe puts so much work into each of his characters the thought of you asking one to be removed is actually disgusting to me. So what Abby is popular among the community no reason to remove her for it you are free to choose your waifu

 

He's not talking about removing her from the game. He just doesn't want her on the forum banner.

CA has said he feels all the marriage candidates are in their early 20s.
Honestly though even though Abigail could be read as a bratty rebel kid type - which I suppose if you assumed she was a teen it'd be the obvious assumption - but I sort of saw that she acted the way she did because her parents refused to stop seeing her as a bratty ungrateful child no matter what she did so she was upset by this. It is a matter of opinion I suppose but I also highly doubt many people would think anyone - game or not - should be shot just because they don't have a satisfactory personality to them... If they did then I've been putting far too much faith in them.
PS: Haley is a cutie yeah.

I would say no just for pointlessly insulting the character in general.

 

First, I don't really see the point in this, since she practically blends into the background.

Second, it is not like her being up there is a slight against any of the other characters. It just means that she's the one the banner creator decided to use.

Third, everyone has their own tastes when it comes to the romance options, and are allowed those opinions as long as they don't go shoving toxic interpretations down the forum goers' throats. Telling someone they can't have an opinion on a character because you personally don't like their opinion is more than a bit ridiculous.

Fourth, taking Abigail out of the banner isn't as simple of a matter as erasing her from it- time would have to be spent making the revealed location look normal compared to the rest of the banner and background. Which means that either the person who made the first would have to do it, which, if CA is the one who made it, would mean either time taken away from the next big patch, or him having to pay someone to make the change.

Fifth, if there's a banner change, it'd be a bit ridiculous to change such a small area. If they were to make a new one, it'd be a better investment to make an entirely new one to capture the improvements and changes the game has gone through.

Sixth, a lot of people who are in the forum have been here for a fair amount of time and are probably attached to the current banner.

Seventh, assuming that everyone feels the same way as you about something isn't the best way to handle things. Implying that everyone else is a coward for not saying what you think is the one truth tends to make the person doing the assuming seem arrogant at best. At worst, it makes them a bully.

Eighth, generally speaking, when suggesting something should be changed, it's polite to give more information on how you think the subject in question should be altered, especially when it comes to aesthetic matters aa they have a large variety of ways they can be altered. Otherwise the person making the change has to work blindly and hope they make a satisfactory change with no information on what the person wanted.

Ninth, saying that a young adult deserves a 'bullet in the forehead' because you find her personality displeasing, even when they are a videogame character, once again is not socially appropriate.

Tenth, it's difficult for people to treat any suggestion made by someone who has developed a reputation as a troublemaker and bully as a serious suggestion, especially when paired with arrogant language.

And before anyone says it, quite aware that I am probably taking this a bit too seriously, but by argument number three I was committed to being thorough in my counter-arguement.
