I believe an interesting feature would be to be able to have a robot that you control, it would be an close to end teir item type thing,you would be able to give it 1 or 2 items to use, have different addons such as a building addon, different tier pick addons ( lazers, plasma and stuff). Have it have like a black and white view, so when you control it you see its POV, (but like an old video recording that gets fuzzier and harder to see when it is farther away. Also a Range upgrader for video feed to make it have more uses) Imagine a giant mining trip with around 10 robots controlled by 1 or 2 people at a control station, mining away flat ground for a base, or a large group helping build an underwater base ( the robots can get like a water resisting addon, But be affected by depth and pressure so too much pressure or depth (more pressure) would destroy it or stop the video feed or something) Also make a swimming and flipper addon to be attached in a tinkering table of sorts. A description for these created by Victorcuss Floran: Made with reverse engineering these “workbots” were created after the Florans found destroyed robots in a field close to one of their towns. After being created however, it was found that these robots were very limited in their intelligence and could be only used for simple tasks, none too complex however through upgrades, and thus formed the name, “workbot”. I would really like to see this Idea implemented if possible, Feedback and Constructive criticism is Needed. (I will be making pixel art and designs how I am imagining things looking later)

A great potential of this feature is the addition of puzzle element to the game. Quests that require the usage of certain robots will require you to utilize their features in a clever way, and sometimes even to program them. I think a puzzle element is something the game is very much lacking and this could be the way to add it.
I think every race should have a different RC item. Maybe Florans can grow some sort of flowery homunculus; the Glitch, Apex and Humans create their own unique robots (Apex is heavily armed, Human is good for research, Glitch is good for scouting); the Avians can talk to animals; Hylotl can create ghosts; Novakids don't have their own, because they're very hands on. On second thought, your Floran idea is better; they could be cobbled together with vines, and look really old.
