After a long day of calibrating nuclear phase cannons and coordinating launch points to the appropriate warp sectors, a space explorer needs to relax. Some do this by laying on the couch watching high-definition television reruns of "Funniest Home Videos". Others sit back and browse "teh interwebs" for pictures of cute fuzzy kittens eating cookies. Some people take their relaxation even further. They imagine entire worlds within their minds, collaborating with others to tell a story by creating fictional characters to wander the countryside in search of fame, fortune, and experience points. Yes, that's right - the futuristic captains of the intergalactic space stations were just a bunch of Dungeons and Dragons-lovin' geeks. And what could be more geeky than to dress up as your character? Warriors are fun and all, and so are the rogues and bards and the other classes... but wizards are where the magic's at. To dress up as a wizard, you need an aura of mysticism. You need the sense of confidence that comes from wielding the ultimate power of the cosmos. And, above all, you need a spiffy wizard hat. And so, without further ado, I give you the incredible, the magnificent, the amazing.... Magician's Hat! Yes, this hat is the perfect piece of clothing for any would-be spellcaster. In fact, I never go anywhere without mine, despite the fact that I have no magical talents whatsoever. After all, who wants to mess with someone with such impeccable taste in fashion? The classic Starbound mannequin, sporting the classic look of a distinguished gentleman. Notice how Ms. Grumpy-Monkey looks happy now that she's got a Magician's Hat. Well, happier than her usual grumpy self, anyway. The most feared being in the universe is none other than this man, the fearsome space-ninja-wearing-a-Magician's-Hat. Notice how much more intimidating he looks with his cleverly chosen headgear. Thanks for taking a look at my hat submission. Hopefully you agree with me that this hat is most certainly the only headgear any self-respecting space adventurer would wear. Actual size for submission:
