Release day beverage choice

Hey, we can learn about what we're drinking too.

Already seen a couple things in this thread that I'll have to try out (although I think I'll pass on your choice ; )

 

I'm drinking fermented grapes. This is so intriguing!

 

Beer, without a doubt. Preferably Redds or just Budweiser.

 

I'll usually drink any beverage that appears in my way, but I'll probably grab a cup of Dr Pepper.

 

@gerald - I don't think it was so much bravery as it was me being a crazy kid that liked to eat random plants. I learned early that clover tastes kind of like cabbage, dandelion leaves are pretty tasty, milkweed is the work of the devil, and any foliage eaten with a side of bees is bad news. I also was the idiot kid that was curious if salt had a smell. Salt DOES have a smell, and it smells like pain.

@Show - I somehow managed to not try to eat raw pumpkin or raw cranberries....are they just really unpalatable in their natural states?

 

Well, pumpkin in about any state of being (besides pie) has a really sharp and bitter taste (to me at least).

As for cranberries, I used to be a complete health nut. Cranberries are supposed to be one of the best foods for guys...they supply a lot of nutrients that are good for preventing health problems later in life.

You still get some benefit from cranberry juice and sauce, but you get even more from craisins (sweetened dried cranberries) and the absolute most benefit from raw cranberries.
So one day I bought a giant bag of fresh raw cranberries and was all excited to dig in and enjoy them. The best way I can describe my memory of it was they had the texture of crisp orange peel and the taste of aspirin.

I think I ate two.

Summer :

• Monday -> Tuesday : Tap water, occasionally lemon green tea (if cold rainy day).
• Wednesday : Tap water as above till evening. At evening after sauna having alcoholic brew (random beer / occasionally cider if feel like it).
• Thursday : Same as Monday -> Tuesday.
• Friday : Soda drink (Energy) -> with occasionally beer if long gaming evening.
• Saturday : Same as Wednesday.
• Sunday : Same as Monday -> Tuesday.

Winter :

• Monday -> Tuesday : Lemon green tea.
• Wednesday : Lemon green tea as above till evening. At evening after sauna having alcoholic brew (random beer / occasionally cider if feel like it).
• Thursday : Same as Monday -> Tuesday.
• Friday : Same as Monday -> Tuesday with occasionally beer if long gaming evening.
• Saturday : Same as Wednesday.
• Sunday : Lemon green tea.

Hopefully this weren't too complicated answer.

 

Not at all...I'm just jealous that you get to spend each Wednesday in a sauna ; )

I read that a sauna every Wednesday and Saturday.

 

Russian Lemonade because I never get to have it (I'm in the US xD) and it's laos amazingly epico tasting. Fitting for Starbound, I believe.

 

Did some searching and found a mixed drink called a Russian Lemonade. Is that what you're talking about, or some type of lemonade that's only made in Russia?

Hahaha! All I can imagine is some little kid with a curious look on his/her face raising a pinch of salt to one nostril!!

And I have never eaten any of those crazy things that you posted, but I agree with the raw pumpkin, and raw crannberries. Another plant that is also terrible raw are olives... soooo bitter and dry.

 

Oh as for snack. I'm not sure but I'd like to stay healthy... I could go for some sliced melon actually. That'd be pretty tasty.
