Release date speculation

Im guessing it will e out sometime summer 2037 or sometime around then.

It seems the general consensus is that Starbound will be out in around in 2 to 3 months in the future of the current month.

So the answer is, it will never come out.

 

It'll be released in a bundle pack with Half Life 3

 

I highly doubt that considering they're only adding content now and all the complicated stuff is basically finished.

 

Hey we share birthdays! A late April release would be amazing though.

 

It's goin' to be released on Friday/May 3rd at 46 P.M. (Pacific). Not really, but I hope it's released by July. (What if I DID actually predict the release date :O )

 

i'm going to say june, in a feeble attempt to avoid disappointment by being too hopeful.

 

I'm betting we are waiting til june or july.
Oh well that just means the terraria update due to come out sometime around may will keep me busy for a month.
Or I'll just go play some other random games coming out between now and then. There's not really too many good games coming out. Guess I could go take out my snes and play some more older games.

But my legit speculation would be probably at some point mid-summer or early fall.

 

I have this strange feeling that the dev team probably gave up, but will let us know around 2015.

 

Here's the formula:

x*(y/13)*((x+3)/(8z*3))+(x/z) = Wait time in days

Where:

x= Community support in %
y= Developer Productivity (On a daily basis) in %
z= The height of the average evil penguin (in centimeters)

 

In my mind now, it's all about whether the Terraria update or Starbound comes out first. Which ever one comes out first will be the one I play right away. Altho I'd likely switch to Starbound in the event it comes out after the Terraria update.

April - May.

Although it's a shot in the dark, I am concerned that the new major Terraria Update may conflict with Starbound should they be released at the same time (more or less).
But I may just be worrying over nothing.
