RP Regardless(Prequel to Disregard)

Thorn smirks and boasts. "Don't worry. I can eat almost everything!"

 

He carefully lays her down, making sure her spines don't damage the couch, before setting his stuff down on the floor and going over to rest on the couch.

He ran inside the vehicle.

 

Galilei notices this, and begins to walk towards the motel.

 

Timberwolf gave Thorn a once-over. "Well, you certainly look like you do."

He nods and shoos you off, apparently his store is closing soon.
On your phone the time said something like 6:30 sol time, the stores around here close a little earlier so they can settle down for the night and get ready for the busy tomorrow.

@Jirky-Kake @Roland Weiss The waitress takes your menus and walks off to the kitchen with a lot of sway to her step.
The mumble of the crowd almost drains out the music the restaurant plays overhead, which seems to be some pop music from a decade or so before the Earth was destroyed.

A chubby Avian man sits at his desk, his face says grumpy but his expression says enthusiastic, maybe his cheeks have just drooped too far.
His silver plume slicks to the left side of his head while his naturally angry looking face draws your attention, even though he seems like he's trying hard to make it look not as grumpy.
He waves his hand subtly and lures you to sit in the chair opposite to himself, across the desk.
In a low but joyful, fat muffled voice he starts with, "you were a bit late, Mr... Steel? But that's fine I don't expect you to be here on time when literally on a whole new world."
"So how are you enjoying Vergak as of, Mr. Steel?"

You begin to walk to the other couch when you realize you're tugging Miraa along with you, she's almost completely off the couch by the time you notice and if you kept going she could've fell.
Better keep your eyes open for a few more minutes.

"Well that's why we've got em!" Travis let's out a hollow chuckle as you two get secured onto the transport.
(As Val)You feel tugged against the metal when the driver suddenly jerks the vehicle backwards, but you shortly get used to the rough driving.
Luckily the drive to Prosper-as you've heard it's called- is a short ride, the vehicle stops at the southwest checkpoint and checks in, slowly driving through and stopping.

The smell of flowers throws you off, but it's fine since it actually improves your impression on the not-so-shoddy motel, the girl at the desk greets you.
She seems older, maybe she used to be a smoker because her voice is rather raspy, but regardless she appears quite chipper.
"Good evenin' sir. Would you like a room for the night?" She asks.

 

"You forgot to bring more pixels didnt you."
"Maybe."
"Well then go explore or something, maybe you can find some pixels, dummy."
She once again heads of in some random direction.

 

He catches himself on the couch as he nearly falls due to his shorter legs. Unfortunately, he quickly corrects his mistake in using two arms and switches to one, hoping it can support him and that moving the other one so fast doesn't send him flying off through the window.

 

Strangers on the street look at you funny as they watch you talk to yourself, but ignore you once you start moving.
The streets and buildings become a blur but after a while you finally come across the edge of the city, a chain link electrocuted fence with guard towers every two blocks.
You spot something rustling around in the bushes, just about 10 feet away from the fence.
It pops out, some sort of lemur, with 8 eyes. I waddles around in circles and acts nice and funny, the guard nearby audibly laughs a little bit but then as if hitting a switch the creature splits it's personality.
It hisses and growls as it shoots some kind of venom, or maybe just gunk, at the guard.
He screams and wipes the gunk away as he pulls his gun and shoots the lemur in the head.
It drops to the ground, twitching, but it seems to be holding something shiny.

[AGI+STR: Success] You successfully manage to pull off this little balancing act and don't get flung out the window like a New York boy testing his paper airplane.
Miraa is a little stirred but she seems to be quite fine as well.

 

" Unh.....What time is it. ...."

 

@Jirky-Kake Timberwolf smiled bitterly at what this place reminded him of; frankly, he felt the nostalgia was laid down a little thick. "So, now that we have a moment to chat, what brings you to this neck of the woods? I personally came to this planet to escape the monotony of daily life."

 

He breathes a sigh of reload and carefully lowers himself to the floor, before setting on unwrapping her tail.

" Uuunh. "

 

He winces quietly as the vertebra like spines get close to his skin. He looks for something to wedge between the spines and his foot.

 

"I'm looking for a friend. I think he might be here, so that's why I came here." He glances around. "Is this what earth used to look like?"

 

Timberwolf lost the smile. "More like a poorly curated museum of the place; though we're not exactly here to learn history."

 

You find a TV remote, it's shaped almost like a wedge so it could work.
