Meh. Achievements don't BUG me, but I could care less about hunting them. (The only achievements I care about are the ones with funny titles!

 

I like Steam personally. I'm for the 3rd option. You guys should make a poll if you wanted to see what the community wants.

 

They already did I believe. It's on the forum somewhere.

 

well that's fine Grannysniff, you don't have to hunt them, but I enjoy hunting them to me it's like mini treasure hunts... but yeah I hope you enjoy the game with or without achievements.

Dude, you could have just said it's outdated without the whole burst your bubble thing. And I do agree that the devs should work on the game over the roadmap. And thanks for the heads up.

 

Seems almost unanimous. While I know some people won't use steam because they were "Screwed over", that it's just as bad as Xbox One's "Always online, you don't own the game just a useless disc", or their PC just wont run it (many Vista users) Option 3 is the best way to go. Steam's servers can handle the stresses of thousands of people downloading updates as well as their ease of use when implementing updates. Steam also has another advantage that many may overlook. The people at steam also take time to update games so they can run on newer machines. Unreal Tournament '99 and Earth 2150 for example. This will allow people who get the game through steam to boot it up YEARS down the road when they are feeling nostalgic.

 

As long as I get a steam key, I'll be happy. It's just easier for me to have the majority of my games accessible from one place.

 

Yesssssss, option three looks like the way to go indeed.

Sorry to say but this is a discussion about Steam and/or DRM-Free and regardless of your interest in what people think a lot of people will discuss what is said on the original post, if your not interested in other peoples thoughts then don't read them.

 

It's turning out more like a poll. Sure, some people are willing to voice an opinion but the less-than-10-word posts containing the phrase "option 3" dominate the thread.

 

Off Topic: I like the new UI. Very sleek.

 

At least its feedback if nothing else which i would have thought CF would find useful.

i'm totally fine with steam, since thats where i'll be downloading it anyway, so option 3. whatever gets me the beta and full game as soon as possible. CAN'T WAAAAAAAAIT
