Will monsters have a higher chance to spawn based on their planet?

For example, lets say a tentacle-slug shows up on tentacle planet.

And if you terraform the planet, does it affect the life-forms?

Example, change it to a crystal planet and get gem-slug.

I'm not really sure, but I think Monster X will always stay on Planet X.
And you also cannot completely wipe out a population of monsters.

... but I am hoping terraforming might change it up :)

  3. Heya Eric, I belive far I read the Spawn Rates are not the same for every planet (not confirmed).

And about Terraforming, it wont be at Launch, but they said in AMA they will look into it after. Still there are some revealed items time ago that let you change weather and some more basic and limited terraforming tools. When they add terraforming to game after launch we will know more about this.

Yes It Is. Tentical Planets May Have A Higher Spawnrate of "Tentical" Monsters.
    And Terraforming, IDK.
