Refine Slime to make things

Well gelatin comes from animal parts. Like pig skin. So maybe a chemlab table you can turn meat into collagen. Then mix the collagen with a dye. And you get cute little gelatin blocks of that color.

 

Would love to find cheese blocks on moons, lol, just for fun of course.

I am glad that they did not make slimer from the ghostbusters out of chocolate otherwise it would become silly. /sarcasm

 

Or give moons a cheese mini biome. Cheese furniture, the whole nine yards.

 

I say make it look more disgusting or leave it as it is.

 

I still don't see what's wrong with the refining option suggested. It satisfies both parties.

On the topic; I like the idea of refining the slime blocks. There just isn't enough..."refined" material in the game that looks like it could be used for building. Packed Dirt, Cobblestone/Sandstone Bricks, Glass and...that's it. You've got a couple of those metal blocks with the introduction of the new PPP (Which are rather expensive), but other than that I can't think of anything. Magmarock and obsidian look nice, asteroid looks okay...Not many other natural materials that look like they could be used for a normal/natural building.

 

I'm sure they plan on adding more nice looking building materials, I just build out of cobble bricks and flesh until then. Or the plant stuff from the Floran prison when I find one.

 

Exactly... Everyone wants to be the first to be a smart-ass though and just go against any kind of idea instead of actually looking at something that would at least make a need mod idea =w=

I guess? I don't see the developers even considering a mod like this however.. I mean, this sounds like it would suit YOUR own tastes. Suggestions are usually considered when multiple people decide if it's a good idea or not.

A MOD. A moddd. There's a difference between having a dev put it in game and then having it as a mod. Please think a little xP

 

No reason we can't have both gross slime and some smooth jelly. I personally would absolutely love more crafting variety in general.

Don't forget the cell matter you can find in slime caves. Making DNA blocks would be really cool

Oh, new primary biome.

Slime biome. Slime trees, slime bushes, slime covered ruins.
With a jelly mini biome. Can't think of anything else that could work as a mini for slime.

 

That's exactly what I've been saying in the comments later. Someone should make a mod for some sort of jelly that you can make. Jelly blocks. Just for fun.
