I have seen alot of talk about using any unit sprite you want in your army. Now I think this would be possible if it was under a rebel banner. A group of runaway soldiers. What do you guys think.
+100 I support this, but it would be a problem since every army needs a comander that is unique and to balance that out is kinda hard, i would suggest the comander to be just a slightly more powerful version of a generic unit, with the possibility of changing its name. No special power, just pure brute force.
You're correct that you can use any unit you want in your army however I think it may also be possible to have your own sprites. So the idea is that a custom army is completely different. For example, I might want to create a final fantasy based team. I would use the knight base unit but change the sprite and name to create a 'lancer' from final fantasy. After creating my final fantasy themed team I would be frustrated if I was forced to have my creation called 'Rebel Faction'.
