Reason for summoning first boss doesnt make sense (spoilers)

So if i just enter those cords then it will "add" that planet to my existing game?

 

Coords are uselss without knowing what galaxy and what planet they are on

Tried to figure it out and died a hundred times on 2 level 10 planets lol. Game over

 

No? It's already there. You just use the coordinates to find it.

No you need the name of the solar system and planet to figure it out. Already asked him, maybe if we all ask politely he will elaborate

 

You think losing the mats for the first boss is bad? Wait until you do what I did and lose all the mats when you fail to beat the SECOND boss. SO many resources down the drain...

This summoning boss/lose mat systems needs to be completely removed from the game. It is not fun and that was one aspect of Terraria I always hated.

Only remove the item when we successfully kill the boss. Pixel loss for a failed kill is plenty.

 

Dunno if it's a bug, but after I summoned the boss and died it despawned...what a marvellous loss of resources ._.

 

Finally summoned the boss. UFO despawned while I was fighting the tanks.
Did I miss out on some loot or another quest? Is there even a point to finishing the quest line?

 

Dunno if is the same as the Despawning but I noticed the UFO would occasionally cloak itself from sight. In fact it stayed that way until I shot it again. In some ways I feel like the layout for the first boss was more of a dev sample for people who were reviewing early access to the game, giving them a taste of the potential boss fights. As it stands it;s massively off balance to how you start during the beta but that;s why we're all playing it. To see how it stacks up and how to suggest a fix.

As for fighting the boss in general I watched, therefore can;t claim it was my game, one group find some chests/crates in their world's small mining area that contained a few guns. I haven;t been that lucky but is suspect they are a possibility to at least balance the playing field.

 

Actually I got really freaking lucky, there was an Avian airship that had a weapons merchant on it that sold lvl 1 guns on my first planet.

 

Which planet?

 

Any word where the merchant is located?

 

Guns are actually quite weak, I found an Avian gun dealer aboard this floating ship(ship as in ship with an anchor and all). The guns were no where near as good as some of the craft stuff I have.
