Honestly I'm going to be playing this regardless of the fact that I have finals coming up.

By the time finals end, the beta will have progressed to a point where it's not quite so buggy. Be grateful.

This is just stage 1 of beta anyway. You could hop onboard for 2nd stage. I'm gonna play this one still what time I get but still no point to be mad lol

 

Lol, then we are on the same boat. My dad reallllly liked Starcraft, Age of Empire, Warcraft 3 Battlechest ( I actually got it for my 8th birthday),CS:S, MOHAA, etc. when I was only 6. I started playing those games, and really got into gaming. I remember playing against adults in SC and winning, lol. I think that a lot of the people who played games that made you make important decisions made them smarter

REAL CONTRIBUTION TO THE THREAD!
We haven't even started getting ready for the finals yet.. The only thing I have coming up reallly soon is my Intro. Foods Final, which is basically make a full meal (1st course, Main course, dessert) and that's pretty easy. I don't know if you mean college or HS, but what are you going to do for the rest of the semester if you are having your finals now? Usually, they give a week or two before the end of the semester to get ready for them.

 

Age of Empires was my childhood. Star Craft was there too, but I don't remember it so well before I replayed it a couple years back.

As for complaints about Beta being released this week, would you prefer they wait a week? What would that accomplish? Making you feel special? I mean. If you can't play it until next week, or the week after that, why does it matter that it was released earlier, you'll still have to wait _ amount of time to play? Would you rather we use time travel to go back in time a week?

 

AoE ,Red Alert, and C&C Generals was my child hood. I started playing Starcraft at 10 due to the complexity to the game. Then I played Dawn of War around 13ish when it came out.
If I was playing as the GLA on C&C their ass was mine.

I think you're too busy being a negative crybaby and pissing and moaning that you didn't realize that the game will still exist after finals week...and it will still be in beta. GROW UP.

 

lol. I have a big test tomorrow and then 3 tests the week after. I'm going to play a little for sure, but most of my playing will have to be after my last test. the good news is that we have until the game shuts down to play it. one week isn't going to kill you. plus it's almost certain we will lose our character(s) multiple, multiple times before the final release so it's not like you're "falling behind".

 

I'm ok with it. More likely it'll be in a more solid build when I go to play it after finals.

I'm pretty sure the OP isn't really that upset about this.

That said, I find it delightfully ironic how most of the response has been to complain about the complainer.

well, it's better to have a playable beta on steam than complaining about beta release while taking a tests ?
