One of the main features of the planet generation was how gravity could be diffrent between planets, it was disabled due to dungeons requiring specific gravity for platforming. Here's how you turn it back on. 1. Navigate to and open "***/steam/SteamApps/common/Starbound/assets/planetgen.config" 2. Modify line 7 to this format: "gravityRange" : [<lowest gravity>, <highest gravity>], eg: "gravityRange" : [20, 140], 3. You may have to reset the Universe for this to take effect. Note: You may take fall damage on lower gravity areas so you might want to disable falldamage alltogether. How to disable fall damage (full credit goes to Bottle Opener)
Hmm, I'm sure I saw something to do that while snooping around. Welp, removing that for now until someone else or I find a way to do it. Sorry.
Found it. Edit the following line in player.config "fallDamageFactor" : 1.0, to "fallDamageFactor" : 0.0, Boom no fall damage. Edit: damn beaten to it in another thread
Bwahaha, I'll have to give this a try - one suspects this is something you can just design a planet biome for yeah? Tuning taller dungeons might be a beast but gravity variable worlds Should. Be. A Thing.
